Little Quilt

I finished my little quilt.  Yay!

I did straight line quilting and I really like the effect. The binding is burgundy and kind of makes this look a little holidayish.  Is that a word?  (wink).  Please ignore my quilting in the ditch.  Once I got going, the quilting got better.

Ok, What's Next?

Well, the NFL Draft is finally over, the Rookie travel is done and they will now be here until the end of June.  It's been a busy, busy couple of weeks.  This is the first weekend I've had (and I'm still not sure I won't have to work tomorrow) since before the draft. 

I really don't have anything to show since I haven't been sewing much so I've got some random pics.  The geese by the stadium had their babies and that was fun to see.

Saw this piece of tile at work yesterday.  Quilt pattern anyone?

 

Bought this book, Fanciful Stichtes Colorful Quilts by Laura Wasilowski.  It's a great book that explains how to make little art quilts while using hand embroidery.  Can't wait to try it.
